Aircraft has now become one of the most popular mode of transportation. One advantage of an aircraft is its ability to transport goods or people in a long span distances but do not take a long time. When compared with other transportation mode, may be the most effective fly by aircraft is a matter of time. Do you know who is the inventor of the airplane? Wright Brothers: Orville Wright and Wilbur Wright. Get ready to know these two geniuses!
Wilbur Wright and Orville Wright were the two brothers listed as the inventors of the aircraft. Orville Wright was born on August 19, 1871 and died in 1948. Meanwhile, Wilbur Wright, the younger brother was born on 16 April 1867 and died in 1912. Furthermore they were known with the name of the Wright Brothers, the inventors of airplane. Actually, the idea of aircraft have existed long before the Wright brothers lived. The idea of flying planes have been there at least since 200 BC. This can be seen from ancient picture that seen above the ceiling of a shrine legacy of Ancient Egypt. In addition, proper in 1898, a replica of the aircraft were found in an ancient tomb in Egypt. All this things indicate a related idea of aircraft has long appeared. However, a person who first time succeeded to effectively realize the idea and successfully fly a plane is the Wright brothers. They were inspired by birds which able to fly by exploiting the air balance.
Wright brothers actually worked as a store manager in Ohio, United States. They manage the shop selling equipment and services in motors and machinery. The profession is more or less accounted for the knowledge about machines for both brothers who have known did not have a wife. The curiosity of Wilbur and Orville encourages them to learn things related to aviation. They also began to make a number of machine that they hope can realize their dreams of flying plane.
The two inventors of aircraft have conducted a series of experiments and also researched for long time. They successfully created a machine called the Wright Flyer. And finally in 1903 precisely at 9:30 am local time, they could prove that their research is not mere nonsense. The Wright brothers successfully flew and controlled a plane along 4 miles distance. Although they only able to airborne for 12 seconds and reached a height of 37 meters, but this achievement was a pioneer or the forerunner to the invention of airplanes which can flies effectively. With this fact, so the world record them as the inventors of the airplane.
